The quietude of early morning drives is a delight. I love watching the black of the night drift away while the light steadily meanders its way across the landscape. On this drive across northern Wisconsin Monday morning, I watched the changeover to day as the fog and sunlight danced with the landscape. And, evidence of another sort of dance is the satellite dish perched on the old farm outhouse.

Really nice. Are you related to a certain person who delivers kids and flowers?
Thank you for your comments; it makes it more fun for me when others can enjoy my work too. :) PS - I am very likely related to that person - if we are thinking of the same person... !
Probably the same, as I think you are canoeville and we are in cookie town. And he delivers a surprise valentine "bunch" to me every few years. I last talked with him and his family at a wedding in Virginia. Sometimes see him at his wife's place of business if I pop in there after going to the hardware store or auto parts store. But now the whole world knows who I'm talking about.
Anyway, I like photo blogs and I like to check out blogs from the general area. I have photos on both of my blogs, but mostly words on the blog linked to this sign in name.
I know right where this is although I have never seen it look quite so nice :)!
Yes. Isn't it amazing how an ordinary places that we've seen time and time again can be transformed by seeing it in a different light?!?
