More from the Sweet October Walk

The loving hearts of friends and family, along with the gold of the autumn birch and aspen leaves, the red gerbera daisies, and the blue accents and accessories, all together brightened up this October wedding day.

When I look at these photos of this bride and groom, this couple, and think of them together, I see: cherished, loved, respected, and harmonious.

For more: visit an earlier blogpost and a facebook album, which has a few more color photos along with some black and white versions of this northern Minnesota wedding.

PS. The main photographer for this event is a good friend of the bride. So I got to relax and just enjoy taking a few photos. It was fun to see another photographer's way of working: Elizabeth has the knack for arranging poses, relaxing everyone, and getting some really fun shots. You can visit Elizabeth's photography work on her website: picturethisbyelizabeth.blogspot.com

Sweet joy II

This little guy was serious... until we found the playground!

And, here's one more - happiness - in color.

Sweet joy

This family is sweet, loving... and up for playful fun. At the beginning of October, we spent a morning together, enjoying the cool air, warm sunshine, fall colors, a few good chuckles, and sweet moments.

Soul restorative

Soul restorative:
walk the shore…
sit with the rocks,
deliberate,
contemplate…
breathe.
Be.
