Fishing on the Wang River, Northern Thailand
The river level fluctuates drastically, even within a day, depending on the rainfall and the opening/closing of the dams upstream. Sections of the concrete walls have built-in steps down to the river, thus a quick glance while driving across the bridge or on the riverside road tells the tale of the day.
