On my walk today, another day of rain, my eyes were drawn to the deep red of almost-past-ripe raspberries. My hands reached for the wet berries, irresistible... tangy sweetness. Now, sorting through images from a wedding I photographed early this summer, I am drawn to the vibrant hue of these Gerbera daisies. On such gray days, I savor these spots of color...

one of my favorite flowers, especially in the winter. I have an orange one from the market ready to put into a vase. :)
